Instrument Panel

The instrument panel and cluster system in a car is a crucial component that provides the driver with important information about the vehicle’s performance. There are three types of instrument panels: mechanical, semi-digital, and fully digital. Mechanical instrument panels are the traditional type that uses analog gauges to display information. Semi-digital instrument panels combine analog gauges with a digital display, while fully digital instrument panels use a digital display to show all information. These instrument panels are connected to the car’s network and infotainment system, which allows them to display additional information such as GPS maps. SUMER engineers, develops, and supplies semi-digital and digital instrument panels. One of the advantages of SUMER’s developed solution for instrument panels is its capability of displaying GPS maps on the instrument panel display in parallel with car’s AVN display.
