ADAS
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are a set of safety features that are designed to help drivers avoid accidents and collisions. These systems use a combination of sensors, cameras, and other technologies to monitor the vehicle’s surroundings and provide alerts to the driver when a potential hazard is detected. Some examples of ADAS features include lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. While ADAS systems are primarily focused on safety, they can also be integrated with car infotainment systems to provide additional functionality. For example, SUMER’s AVN systems automatically adjust the volume of the car’s audio system based on the vehicle’s speed. SUMER’s solutions for ADAS include rear view camera systems (RVC), 360 degree surround camera solutions, active and passive parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) and intelligent speed adaptation (ISA).
